The parish of Bedwas includes the populations of Bedwas and Trethomas. We meet between our two buildings:
St Barrwg’s Church is the ancient Church with a tower. It is easily found, at the top of Church Street in the village of Bedwas.

Building Work 2012 – 2015:

All the building work and roof repairs is now completed and St. Barrwg’s has now been re-opened.

Access:

Lifts to either church can be arranged (contact the rector or one of the churchwardens).
At St Thomas’ Church, the site is entirely flat; there are full access toilet facilities; a hearing loop is provided.
At St. Barrwg’s access is by steps.

Sunday services:

Our main Sunday service is at 11.15am, (usually a Eucharist) with music and singing. All are most welcome.
Sunday services alternate between the two churches
On 1st, 3rd & 5th Sundays at St Barrwg’s
On 2nd & 4th Sunday at St Thomas’

Messy Church:

For families with young children. (at least one adult must attend from each family)
Various creative activities for all ages; brief and simple act of worship;
free child-friendly meal.

First Tuesdays after school commencing Tue May 1st 2018.
Doors open 3:30pm

Messy church is free (including the food) although a donation is always welcome.

Wednesdays 7.00pm Eucharist at St Barrwg’s
Thursdays 10.00am Eucharist at St Thomas’
